Elon Musk X didn’t work for thousands of users around the world who reported that their posts disappeared from their profiles.

The problems began around 10 a.m. EST but subsided after about three hours.

The outage affected users in the US, UK, parts of Europe and other countries, but it was unclear how many people were affected.

Elon Musk’s X was down for thousands of users around the world who reported that their posts disappeared from their profiles

Issue reports obtained by DownDetector showed that 47 percent of users had issues with the app, 36 percent cited the website and 18 percent said they were posting.

According to one X member, other issues included unresolvable captchas, loss of followers, and payments to creators being withheld.

X has been flooded with users asking others if they can see their posts because they don’t appear on profiles.

The issue has caused some people to think they have been shadow-blocked from the platform, which happens when someone is unknowingly blocked from a social networking site.

They will still be able to log in to their account and view content, but their posts will not be visible to others.

Users reported that their posts did not remain on the site – one person stated that his tweets about the Wuhan virus disappeared

Problem reports to DownDetector were in the thousands, which was a small number compared to other social media bugs that were reporting in the hundreds of thousands.

The last time a major X error occurred was in April, which impacted publishing and the main feed.

However, as with the current outage, some users had full access to the platform.
