A missing 70-year-old woman was last seen leaving her home in Austin

CHICAGO – Police are asking for help searching for a woman who has been missing from her West Side home for almost a week.

Chicago police say Arlene Hall, 70, was last seen by her boyfriend leaving her home in the 800 block of North Lockwood Avenue in Austin on Tuesday around 8 p.m.


Officers say the missing woman suffers from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder.

Authorities say Hall, who has brown eyes and gray hair, is 5-foot-7 and weighs approximately 170 pounds.

Chicago police say 70-year-old Arlene Hall went missing from her West Side home on Tuesday, May 24.

According to police, the missing woman was last seen wearing a pink T-shirt, red or orange pants, green shoes with yellow laces and a white hospital bandage on her left forearm. Hall was also spotted carrying a white plastic bag and a purple plastic bag.

Officers notified the public of the missing woman’s disappearance in a news release sent out Sunday evening.
