Serious Road Accident, Helensvale – Queensland Police News

The Forensic Accident Unit is investigating following a serious three-vehicle road accident on the Pacific Highway in Helensvale today, June 7.

Preliminary information shows that around 1:20 p.m. a police vehicle performing road duties stopped on the side of the highway.

Then a Mitsubishi Triton hit the police car from behind.

A 55-year-old policeman, a 54-year-old woman driver and a two-year-old passenger in the Mitsubishi were taken to hospital with serious injuries.

The driver of the third vehicle, who stopped to render aid, was not injured.

No further details are known at this time.
