Two people arrested were hiding in friend’s house after person found shot to death in Clayton home – WSB-TV Channel 2

CLAYTON COUNTY, Ga. – Two people in Clayton County are facing murder charges after a person was found dead in a Riverdale home.

When police arrived at the home on April 30, they opened the door and found the victim, whose identity was not released, with several gunshot wounds. They say the walls and floor in the kitchen were covered in blood.

Investigators identified Jason Jefferson and Saisha Gibson as suspects and obtained warrants charging them with murder, aggravated assault and home invasion.

Details about the murder itself are limited.

Clayton County Sheriff Levon Allen says the two were on his most wanted list.

The U.S. Marshals Service was able to track down Jefferson and Gibson to a friend’s home in DeKalb County.

Officers surrounded the house and both were arrested.

They are currently in the Clayton County Jail.
