A Red Lion teenager could soon be released from prison after admitting he stabbed another teenager during a fight.
Isaac Blinke, 17, was sentenced Tuesday to nine to 23 months in prison plus two years probation.
York County Common Pleas Court Judge Maria Musti Cook ordered the sentence after Blinke pleaded guilty in April to aggravated assault on adults.
Court documents show he was given credit for 231 days, or nearly eight months, that he has already spent in the York County Jail without bail since his arrest last October.
Pennsylvania State Police investigators say Blinke fought with a second teenager, then 17, in the parking lot of the Alliance Fire and Rescue Services building on West Broadway on the evening of October 24, 2023.
Police say footage of the fight shows Blinke holding a knife, then lunging at the other teenager and stabbing him in the torso, according to charging documents.
Charging documents say Blinke confiscated a silver folding knife when he was arrested.

The teenager who was stabbed told police during questioning that he and Blinke had been arguing throughout the day. The situation escalated when he sent a message to Blinke and they agreed to fight behind the firehouse, according to charging documents.
Blinke’s sentence also includes an order to undergo a mental health evaluation, as well as drug and alcohol testing upon his release from prison. Court documents show that he was also prohibited from having any contact with the other teenager.
