New Bedford Alumni Receive $500 Firefighter Awards in Honor of New Bedford Guide Kristian Rose

“Each year, Local 841 member Bryce Fortes awards two high school graduates with a scholarship in honor of his cousin Kristian Rose, who tragically died in a car accident in 2011.

This year, the local government matched Bryce’s contribution by awarding each student a $500 prize.
