A Gauteng couple showed no remorse when three years ago they were convicted of subjecting their two-year-old daughter to constant abuse, followed by rape and ultimately choking her to death in their Alberton home.

The couple, Belinda and Stefanus Benjamin Bezuidenhout, stood about two meters apart as Judge Mokate Noko sentenced them for child abuse, rape and murder in the Gauteng High Court in Palm Ridge.
