In addition to being an NBA champion and one of the most successful young coaches in NBA history, Joe Mazzulla may also be one of our generation’s greatest content-producing machines. Since Monday night, Pyscho Joe has had the time of the century every time he steps in front of the camera/mic, and each time is better than the last

So what can you add to this legendary coach-led experience?

Easy. 1000000% serious account of how Joe Mazzulla robbed a bank

This is our basketball psycho that we know and love. Zach Lowe probably thought he had a funny episode and asked Joe a stupid question about his favorite movie and got some sort of answer. The thing is, he clearly doesn’t understand that Joe Mazzulla probably spent over 1,000 hours thinking and planning for this exact scenario. Does he have to do this? No, but this is a man who doesn’t want to be unprepared for any situation life may throw at him. This is the same guy who took all the coaches on a duck boat trip before the season so they would understand the situation and be ready for this moment 8 months later

so of course he had completely thought through how to rob the bank. I would argue that it would be more shocking to learn that he had no such thing planned. Watching him discuss scripts with a completely straight face is so Joe Mazzulla that I can’t stand it. There isn’t an ounce of Joe who was even remotely joking at this point.

For me, this is the best part of these moments. Joe is a living meme in every way. This quote can be seen on Twitter when someone jokes impersonating what Joe would say if asked this question, and here we actually see it in real life. It’s amazing.

I don’t want to jinx it, but I have a feeling there will be an all-time Joe performance at the parade tomorrow. We’ve entered the Summer Of Psycho Joe and damn, he’s doing it all over the place.
