33-year-old man shot and killed in Prince George’s County

LANDOVER, Md – The Prince George’s County Police Homicide Unit is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Thursday evening in Landover. The victim is 33-year-old Michael Thomas of no fixed address. There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.

On June 20, 2024, at approximately 5:15 p.m., officers responded to the 2500 block of Kent Town Place in reference to a shooting. Officers located the victim outside suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives are working to identify a suspect and establish a motive.
