A Craig police officer and a Moffat County sheriff’s deputy shot and killed a man at a trailer park Friday night, authorities said Saturday.

At approximately 9:40 p.m. Friday, Officer Craig and a Moffat County Sheriff’s Office deputy responded to reports of a man with a gun at the Cedar Mountain Mobile Home Community – located at 925 West 1st St. in Craig — – according to a joint press release from both departments.

According to the release, when they both arrived at the scene, they found a man brandishing a gun.

No information is available on what happened after the officer and deputy arrived, but the incident ended with the man shot by law enforcement officers, according to a press release.
