The former WWE star was arrested following a “brutal stabbing” incident in Kansas City, Missouri earlier this month.

As reported by TMZ, former WCW Tag Team 2 Champion Cold Scorpio, real name Charles Scaggs, was arrested on June 15 after a “gas station fight.”

According to TMZ, Scaggs, who also wrestled in WWE under the name Flash Funk, told authorities he worked as a security guard at a gas station store and saw a man lighting a cigarette in the store.

The victim told TMZ that he didn’t light it in the store, but came in with a cigarette that “may not have been completely out,” although he thought he put it out.

Scaggs claimed he told the victim he couldn’t smoke inside, to which the victim responded, “What the hell are you going to do?”

Scaggs then claimed he was threatened by another man who “tried to grapple with him” outside, so Scaggs pulled out a pocket knife and stabbed him “in self-defense.”

According to Scaggs, the argument continued for “a few more moments” and he “got a few more stabs.”

Police who arrived at the scene said they saw the victim lying on the ground bleeding from his “head, chest, buttocks, legs and abdomen.” She had to be taken to the hospital as he drifted in and out of consciousness.

When investigators made contact with him, he told them Scaggs was the aggressor.

Scaggs, 58, was arrested on two charges – one of first-degree assault and one of armed criminal action.

After being released on bail, he pleaded not guilty and his trial is scheduled for next month.
