Westfield Garden State Plaza is kicking off summer with a big dose of nostalgia.

The Pop 2000 Tour features some of the most familiar names and faces from the heyday of MTV’s “Total Request Live” and is scheduled to make a stop June 29 at the Paramus Mall.

Hosted by *NSYNC’s Chris Kirkpatrick, the free outdoor concert will feature 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons, BBMAK, Ryan Cabrera and DJ Skribble performing the biggest hits from the turn of the millennium. The event will begin at 1:30 p.m. with pre-show activities, like free airbrush tattoos, rhinestone artwork, and a 2000s photo station. Mall stores and restaurants will also offer exclusive prizes to be won.

The afternoon will feature several retailer pop-ups, as well as one near Fogo de Chão and Seasons 52 selling exclusive merch and souvenirs from the tour.

Additionally, attendees can enjoy deals at select Westfield Garden State Plaza cafes and restaurants.

One day only

DJ Skribble, who has remixed and produced works with The Fugees, Britney Spears and Taio Cruz, will drop the beat from 2:30 p.m. before the show runs from 3 to 5 p.m.

The concert will take place outdoors and will be standing room only. Participants must RSVP online here.

After the show, boy band merchandise will be available as well as the opportunity to meet the singers for a photo shoot.

For the Pop 2000 tour, Paramus is the only New Jersey stop on its 26-date schedule.

Wesley Rebisz, senior general manager of Westfield Garden State Plaza, said the upcoming concert “promises to be one of many incredible summer experiences” at the mall.

“This event is not only a celebration of music, but also a tribute to the cultural phenomenon that shaped an entire generation. “It’s an honor to host such an iconic tour and offer our community the opportunity to relive some of its fondest memories,” he added.

Over the years, Westfield Garden State Plaza has hosted several artists, including pop singer Judy Torres and rapper Macklemore. It also hosted the Summer Stage at Westfield Garden State Plaza in 2022, hosted by popular Z100 radio DJs Maxwell and Crystal and featuring social media stars.
