Eleven people have been arrested in connection with a major drug bust in Iredell County

IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Iredell County sheriffs conducted a drug bust that led to the arrest of eleven people, including career and repeat offenders.

A recent release stated that many of the people arrested have long histories of criminal activity related to drug distribution and other crimes.

Deputies say tips and information from concerned citizens played a key role in identifying and apprehending the criminals.

The operation is part of a series of ongoing investigations aimed at dismantling drug networks across the county.

“We will continue to use every tool at our disposal to reduce crime rates and build distrust in the drug trade, which will make Iredell County an unprofitable and dangerous place for drug dealers to do business,” added Sheriff Campbell.
