Police say 12-year-old autistic girl found dead in Lake Fulshear

FULSHEAR, Texas (KIAH) – Police say a 12-year-old Fort Bend County girl was found dead in a lake near her home.

Aisha Adebayo was found around 5 a.m. Thursday morning, Fulshear police said. They believe she accidentally drowned in the lake.

Adebayo was reported missing after he was seen in the 29000 block of Aaron River Trail in the Cross Creek Ranch subdivision in Fulshear around 8 p.m. Wednesday night.

A surveillance camera recorded her leaving the house wearing a black T-shirt and blue shorts.

Police said Aisha suffered from non-verbal autism and hid in unlocked cars and backyards.
