A head-on collision in Woodside leaves a 31-year-old Magnolia man dead

A 31-year-old Magnolia man was killed Tuesday morning in a crash in Woodside, according to Delaware State Police. He was identified as Brian Moore.

Two other people were also injured in the accident in Kent.

Police said Moore was driving west on Route 10 west of Barney Jenkins Road in a 2016 Honda Accord around 5 a.m. While driving, a 2009 Cadillac Escalade that was traveling east on Route 10 crossed the center line for “unknown reasons.” and hit Moore’s car head-on.

Moore was pronounced dead at the scene. According to police, Bear, 18, driving the Cadillac, and his passenger, a 19-year-old Harrington woman, were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
