Kamloops man suffered serious injuries after assault | iNFOnenews

A Kamloops man was taken to hospital with serious injuries this morning after a gun attack.

According to an RCMP media release, officers were called to a home in the 1100 block of 13 Street on the North Shore around 7 a.m. for a report of a man suffering serious injuries from blunt force trauma.

“The man was transported by ambulance to hospital with serious injuries, the extent of which is unknown at this time,” said Kamloops RCMP media liaison Cpl. – Crystal Evelyn stated in the release.

RCMP have not said what type of weapon was used in the robbery or whether a weapon was found at the scene.

“Police remain in the area and officers continue to investigate with the help of a number of support units, including the General Investigations Support Team, the Crime Reduction Unit and the Forensic Identification Service.”

Anyone who witnessed, has surveillance video or dash cam footage that may have captured anyone arriving or fleeing the residence, or that may be related to this incident is asked to contact Kamloops RCMP at 250-828- 3000 and reference file 2024- 20005.
