A 63-year-old grandmother and 26-year-old husband share disturbing baby news after announcing their first child

Cheryl McCain’s husband Quran broke down in a video giving an update on their baby

Earlier this year, grandmother Cheryl McCain and her 26-year-old husband Quran happily announced that they were going to start a family.

Cheryl is 63 years old and has 18 grandchildren, but it is her relationship with her husband Koran that has catapulted her into the social media spotlight.

When Quran was 23, after weeks of spending time together, he confessed his feelings and in April 2021, they started dating.

The couple married in September of the same year and set up joint social media accounts to document their life together.

The couple has faced heavy criticism online due to their age difference, but they continue to keep their followers updated about their lives.

In May this year, they announced that they had found a surrogate and were expecting their own child, which caused mixed reactions among TikTok users.

However, the couple was determined to start a family and spoke openly about the happiness it brought them.

Cheryl said: “It was an amazing feeling when I found out we were having a baby. We will start our own family. Now I’m the happiest I’ve ever been. Thanks to this, our family will be much happier, as we will love the child unconditionally.”

Quran added: “I cried tears of joy when I found out about it. This will be my first child. I’ve never felt love like this except when I married Cheryl.”

However, in a recent video, Quran broke down in tears and told followers that he was “going through hell.”

He said: “I don’t know how to feel, I’ve been going through hell for two weeks. Like, literally hell. I just want a fucking family and a healthy baby.

“It started on Father’s Day, and at 6 a.m. I woke up to a text message saying, ‘I don’t want to do this anymore.’

Koran explained that the surrogate’s mother came forward and claimed that the couple was doing it all for likes and views.

In a subsequent video, the couple claimed that the surrogate mother contacted them and said she was keeping the baby.

The American Surrogacy website states that there are no federal laws governing surrogacy in the U.S. and that any surrogacy arrangements “will depend on what procedures are permitted in a given state.”
