‘Turtles All The Way Down’ star Cree signs contract with UTA

EXCLUSIVE: UTA signed Cree actress for representation in all areas.

Currently, Cree may appear alongside Isabela Merced Turtles all the way down, Hannah Marks’ adaptation of John Green’s beloved New York Times bestseller for Max. Adapted for the screen by Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker, the film tells the story of Aza Holmes (Merced), a teenager struggling with obsessive-compulsive disorder who sets out to search for a missing billionaire. Cree plays the role of Daisy, Aza’s best friend and confidant.

Previous Cree films include Netflix films Sleepover alongside Joe Manganiello, Ken Marino and Malin Akerman, as well as an indie drama Do not fall asleep with Chrissy Metz, Wyatt Oleff and Fin Argus.

On television, Cree appeared for a full season on ABC Big sky and showed up at Max’s Sex and the City restart And just like that…. She is also often recognized for her starring role as Marisol Fuentes alongside Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias in the Netflix series Mr. Iglesias, which ran for three seasons. She previously received two Imagen Foundation Award nominations for Outstanding Young TV Actor for her work on the Nickelodeon series Shakery game.

Born in New York, raised in Queens and originally from Ecuador, Cree began her acting career at a young age and landed her first series regular role at just 13 years old. On the philanthropic front, he is passionate about shining a light on social injustices around the world and uses his social media presence to raise awareness and spread the word about how others can also take action. She also has a passion for rescue animals and food allergy awareness. For the past five years, she has actively supported various nonprofit organizations in the Los Angeles area.
