US DJ Diplo faces new revenge porn charges and files second lawsuit in less than a year

American DJ and producer Diplo, known for songs such as Where are you nowwas charged with distributing revenge porn in a new lawsuit filed Thursday.

This is the second time in less than a year that Diplo, real name Thomas Wesley Pentz, has been accused of distributing revenge porn.

The lawsuit was filed in California by a woman using the pseudonym Jane Doe, who claimed she was in a relationship with Diplo from June 2016 to October 2023.

According to the complaint, in November 2023, the woman discovered that Diplo was allegedly distributing videos and photos of their sexual interactions without her consent. Diversity.

During their relationship, the woman told Diplo she did not want him to record their sexual interactions or distribute them.

The woman first reported Diplo to the New York Police Department on November 7, and a warrant was issued for the DJ’s arrest.

The producer has previously been accused by another person of distributing revenge porn. A woman named Shelly Auguste claimed that she experienced sexual assault at his hands in 2020 and that he distributed sexual content to her without her consent.

According to Variety, Diplo filed a lawsuit accusing the woman of being a “stalker” and that her claims are baseless.

Auguste filed another complaint of revenge porn against Diplo in August 2023 with the Los Angeles Police Department, which was reviewed.
