“Big Boy” is coming to town

Union Pacific’s legendary “Big Boy No. 4014,” the world’s largest operating steam locomotive, will make 19 whistle-stops in five states during its 2024 Westward Bound Tour from Wyoming to California. On July 10, it will make a stop in Portola at Western Pacific Railroad Museumfrom 9 am to 6 pm.
