Police searching for missing 17-year-old Hilo runaway: Big Island Now

Police in Hawaii are asking for the public’s help in locating 17-year-old Shaiana Tavares-Unei, who is reported to be a runaway.

Tavares-Unea was last seen on Maikalani Street in Hilo on Friday, June 21, 2024 at approximately 3:00 p.m.

She was last seen wearing a black jacket, jeans and sandals.

She is described as Hawaiian, tanned complexion, 5’10”, 150 pounds, brown hair and brown eyes.
