200 STAB WOUNDS Releases ‘Gross Abuse’ Music Video; new album now available

Manual Manic Procedures, the highly anticipated new album from Cleveland death metal giants 200 Stab Wounds, is out today via Metal Blade Records.

A standout sophomore album and the follow-up to their tour de force debut, 2021’s Slave To The Scalpel, Manual Manic Procedures is a brutal record of old-school death metal with a contemporary twist. Not for the faint of heart – the record may prove to be the album that brings back the collective consciousness of the metal community with classic gore savagery. The album cover – graphically depicting radical surgery on someone who may or may not be conscious – is a direct indicator of what this album is about. No punches, no limits, just blood-soaked death metal.

Songs from Manual Manic Procedures are not safe for work – perhaps unsafe in most places. But such is the dark charm in a world where even heavy music can be played too safely. 200 Stab Wounds created Manual Manic Procedures for themselves and their like-minded brothers: thrill seekers, carnage seekers, horror fans and lovers of the most extreme metal. Above all, 200 Stab Wounds created a future death metal classic.

To celebrate the album’s official release, the band has today shared a music video for “Gross Abuse.”

Vocalist/guitarist Steve Buhl describes it this way: “Gross Abuse is a standard torture death metal song. It’s so simple, heavy, and awesome. It’s fucking heavy and just brutal – so we needed lyrics that would fit it. It’s a standard torture-fucking-murder-fucking death metal song about killing someone.

200 Stab Wounds will be back on the road in August with a North American tour! The Manual Manic Procedures tour kicks off in Houston, Texas on August 16th and runs through September 10th in Ottawa, Ontario with support from Balmora, Upon Stone and Stabbing.

From there, 200 Stab Wounds will join Nails for ten shows leading up to their appearance at this year’s New England Metal And Hardcore Fest in Worcester, Massachusetts, followed by four more shows with Alluvial, Torture and Killing Pace. Tickets are now on sale! See all confirmed dates below.
