5 injured in serious crash on I-495 in Westboro

Several people were injured in a serious crash on I-495 in Westboro.

According to the Westboro Fire Department, firefighters were called to the scene of a crash that occurred overnight on I-495 north at mile marker 60.

Five people were transported by ambulance to a trauma center.

Westboro Fire says this is their fourth time responding to a crash on I-495 during the shift.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.

Westborough Medic 4, Medic 1, Rescue and Car 3 worked on this overnight crash (with ejection) on I-495 north, mile marker 60 (Southboro Line) in which 5 were injured.
