Patricia Zarlingo, 31, accepted a plea deal and pleaded guilty to all charges in connection with the January 2023 death of 16-year-old Chassidy Broadstone.

Zarlingo has pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder and aggravated arson, as well as one count each of aggravated burglary and tampering with evidence. He is the last of three suspects in the fatal arson of a Warren teenager.

Zarlingo was sentenced to life in prison with the possibility of parole after 35 years. Must register as a violent offender.

Zarlingo accepted the plea agreement Friday in Trumbull County Circuit Court before Judge Sean O’Brien.

One of the suspects, Zackary Gurd, pleaded guilty to his role in the crime in December 2023, and another suspect, Brendan Daviduk, entered a plea deal in early June to plead guilty to his role in the crime. No suspect has been convicted yet.

Specifically, investigators say it was Gurd who brought a can of gasoline to the home on the night of the crime, and that Daviduk and Zarlingo were there to steal property as part of a child support dispute with some of the children in the home.

Chassidy was not one of the children involved in this dispute.
