Las Vegas Police Discusses Shootings Involving 2 Officers | Shootings

On Wednesday, officers Ashley Ravelo, 32, and Johnny Patino, 32, shot and killed a man armed with a knife outside a Las Vegas Valley business at 6400 Boulder Highway, police said.

On Tuesday, 31-year-old Officer Miguel Rodriguez shot and killed a man accused of breaking into a home in the 2000 block of Valley Drive and fighting with residents while wielding a knife, police said.

Metro said all three officers were placed on routine paid administrative leave.
