Six hanging over Ayodhya Rampath caves, watering | India news

Six officials of the Uttar Pradesh Public Works Department (PWD) and Jal Nigam were suspended on Friday on the orders of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanth following reports of road collapses and waterlogging at several places on the newly constructed Rampath in Ayodhya, they said.

The suspended officials are Dhruv Aggarwal (Executive Engineer), Anuj Deshwal (Assistant Engineer) and Prabhat Pandey (Junior Engineer) of Public Works Department and Anand Kumar Dubey (Executive Engineer), Rajendra Kumar Yadav (Assistant Engineer) and Mohammad Shahid (Junior Engineer) ) from Jal Nigam.

According to media reports, road cave-ins occurred at more than 10 places on Rampath, a route constructed ahead of the consecration ceremony of the Ram Temple in the city.
