Wife faces six years in prison for ‘mismanagement of household duties’

A dissatisfied husband takes his wife to court for negligently performing housework – she faces six years in prison.

An impatient 47-year-old Italian from Sonnino accused his wife of “mistreating the family” due to her “mismanagement of household responsibilities”.

According to The Local, the husband felt “insulted” by his wife’s negligence for over two years and decided to hold her responsible for the tardiness.

Not only was he “forced to live in conditions of extreme hygiene,” but Il Fatto Quotidiano reports that he was also sometimes thrown out of his bedroom.

His 40-year-old wife will appear in court on October 12 for these serious crimes.
