CBI interrogates accused in Patna Jail – Global Green News

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) today interrogated an accused at Beur Central Jail in Patna, Bihar, in connection with the alleged leak of question paper in the NEET UG exam.

This is the second consecutive day that the Central Agency is conducting interrogation in the case at Patna Jail. The agency has so far arrested five suspects from Bihar and Jharkhand.

The central agency is also questioning 13 other accused lodged in Beur jail; they were earlier arrested by the Economic Offences Branch (EOU) of Bihar police. The CBI took over the case from the EOU on June 24.
