Storms interrupt Euro 2024: Germany vs. Denmark suspended in Dortmund

The Euro 2024 round of 16 match between Germany and Denmark was forced to be temporarily suspended due to a sudden storm.

The Euro 2024 1/8 final match between Germany AND Denmark Matches at the Signal Iduna Park stadium in Dortmund were temporarily suspended due to a sudden storm that occurred in the 34th minute of the first half.

The players of both teams went to the locker rooms while stadium staff assess the situation and determine when the match can be resumed.

The suspension of the match caused a moment of uncertainty in the development of the round of 16 Euro 2024UEFA is expected to announce soon a decision on whether the match will be restarted and whether the rest of the match will be played today or postponed to another day.

The match between Germany and Denmark was resumed after 25 minutes, when the storm stopped.
