Ahsoka Season 2 reportedly takes a look at the terrifying Star Wars villain who makes the return of the greatest Jedi Master inevitable

Ahsoka Season 1 ended on a pretty dramatic cliffhanger, with Ahsoka, Sabine, and Huyang stranded in another galaxy and Ezra having just returned to the main galaxy. Additionally, Grand Admiral Grassland returned from exile, putting the New Republic at risk after the defeat of Emperor Palpatine.

As Ahsoka and the New Republic’s problems mount, it seems that the show’s second season will introduce another antagonist for our heroes to face, one who could aid Baylan Skoll in his search for hidden power. However, this character could also introduce Luke Skywalker into Ahsoka’s story, considering the character has quite a long history in the Legends continuity.

Ahsoka Season 2 May Introduce Mother into Star Wars Canon

Baylan Skoll was convinced that Peridea held a secret power that could help him achieve his goals, considering it was the original home of the Nightsisters and the gods of Mortis were carved into the cliffside, likely guiding any travelers who came to seek power in its direction.

Given that the Nightsisters live in a matriarchal society, it would make sense for the characters to be somehow related to the Mother, a Dark Side being related to the Father, Son, and Daughter (who were introduced in The Clone Wars).

If she is indeed introduced into the main Star Wars canon, it would be important to introduce Luke Skywalker into Ahsoka Season 2, considering he has a history with the character. Skywalker, along with his son Ben, fought the Mother in the Legends timeline, and while Ben Skywalker doesn’t exist in the Star Wars canon, Luke could still play out a version of events in them

Season 2 Ahsoka has been slow with updates, but there are some exciting things on the horizon considering the series is in development under the direction of Dave Filoni. Given that the show exists in the Star Wars Filoniverse, fans are excited to see young Luke Skywalker again.

Ahsoka There are plenty of storylines to flesh out in Season 2, considering there’s a way to get Ahsoka and Sabine back to the main universe, preparing the Republic to fight Thrawn and his witches, and wrapping up a story arc that was starting to take shape with Baylan Skoll and his former apprentice Shin Hati.
