Lewis Capaldi returned to the Glastonbury Festival after a thrilling performance last year that kept the audience in suspense until the very end.

The beloved “Someone You Loved” singer, 27, performed on the Pyramid festival stage in 2023, but while performing his hit song “Bruises” he admitted that he has problems with his voice and asked the audience to “sing with me so loud, as best he can.”

The Glastonbury crowd obviously rocked it, and an emotional moment went down in history when Lewis struggled to sing some of the notes.

Since then, the star has largely remained out of the spotlight, although fans have gone crazy at the thought that she is preparing for her musical comeback.

He still tries to avoid publicity, as evidenced by the fact that he was spotted at the Glastonbury Festival this year.

This year’s Worthy Farm festival will feature SZA, Coldplay, a surprise set from Kasabian and Shania Twain in the Legends slot.

A source told MailOnline: “He met up with a group of friends at Dua Lipa’s and they hugged a lot.

“He looked like he was having a great time, with his finger in the air and singing along with us. We’ve all heard it. But then he left after a few songs with all his friends.

Another source told The Sun that Lewis looked “very happy” and “how happy he was to be back at Worthy Farm.”

He has also reportedly been spotted with A-list stars including Noel Gallagher and Cara Delevingne.

During his performance last year, Lewis was full of apologies, although the audience was on hand to support him.

“I’m sorry, I’m a little angry with myself,” he said solemnly.

“I recently took three weeks off, just because I’ve been working non-stop for the past year and needed a break for my head and mental health, but I wanted to come back and perform at Glastonbury because it’s obviously so amazing, so I wanted to thank you all for coming and watching us ” he said sweetly.

“I was scared as hell, but you really calmed me down, so thank you very much.”

Unnecessarily apologetic, he added, “I’m really sorry and I hope you guys take me back even though it’s a shit show.”

Following his performance at last year’s Somerset Festival, Lewis announced on social media that he would be taking a break from touring “for the foreseeable future”, writing online that he was “still learning to adjust to the impact of my Tourette’s”.

The Scottish singer-songwriter detailed his health problems in last year’s Netflix documentary, Grapple Capaldi: How I Live Now”, which won a National Television Award (NTA) in September.

In the documentary, which was released in April 2023, Lewis opened up about his struggles with mental health and how the pressures of fame affected him.

After winning the NTA for original documentary, Lewis said in a video message that “it means the world,” adding: “It never ceases to amaze me how much this documentary has touched people and struck a chord.”
