International Justice: Spain Asks to Join South Africa’s Lawsuit Against Zionist Entity

(June 29, 2024)

THE HAGUE AGEN June 29, 2024 (Saba) – The International Court of Justice announced last night that Spain has asked to join South Africa’s lawsuit accusing a Zionist organization of committing genocide in the Gaza Strip.

Spain will join South Africa’s lawsuit before the International Court of Justice against Israel’s operations in the Gaza Strip, which are related to accusing the hostile Zionist army of committing acts of genocide against Palestinians, Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albarez said at the beginning of the month.

On December 29, 2023, South Africa filed a lawsuit against the Israeli occupation before the International Court of Justice for its involvement in acts of genocide against Palestinian citizens in the Gaza Strip.

The lawsuit filed by South Africa before the International Court of Justice against the Zionist enemy occupier has received support and acceptance from Arabs and the international community.

Since the first rulings were issued, several states have joined the case, invoking the clause in the Statute of the International Court of Justice that allows third parties to join the proceedings.
