Germany – Denmark LIVE: Euro 2024 match suspended due to lightning strike in Dortmund

Julian Nagelsmann’s Germany will face Denmark tonight in the Euro 2024 round of 16.

The hosts cruised through the group stage with ease, and two impressive performances in the first two games saw them advance with one game remaining when they faced Switzerland. However, the 1-1 scoreline means Nagelsmann will need a thrilling performance.

Denmark had a much more disappointing group stage, where three draws meant they picked up a paltry three points, enough to see them finish second in Group C. But with a solid squad including Christian Eriksen, Rasmus Hojlund and a wealth of experienced defenders, Denmark are capable of causing another surprise at Euro 2024, and Germany will need to be on form if they are to secure a place in the quarter-finals.
