Naib Tehsildar suspended – Daily Excelsior

JAMMU, June 29: Deputy Commissioner Anantnag today suspended Naib-Tehsildar Pahalgam for allegedly leaving the station without permission, thereby sabotaging the ongoing Shri Amarnathji Yatra.
In this context, an order was issued as follows: “Ovais Amir, Naib-Tehsildar Pahalgam is hereby suspended for leaving the station without due permission and sabotaging the ongoing SANJY-2024.”
Meanwhile, DC Anantnag directed SDM Kokernag to look into the matter of non-compliance of rules by the Naib-Tehsildar and the suspended officer would remain in his post for the period of suspension.
