3-year-old Chicago boy Louis Gottschalk, battling leukemia, raises money for pediatric cancer research with a lemonade stand

A 3-year-old Chicago boy, Louis Gottschalk, who is battling leukemia, helped raise money for childhood cancer research with a lemonade stand on Saturday.

CHICAGO (WLS) — A three-year-old boy battling leukemia held his first lemonade stand on Saturday to raise money for pediatric cancer research.

Louis Gottschalk and his family set up a stand in Chicago’s North Park neighborhood.

They hoped to raise $5,000 for childhood cancer treatment, which has historically been underfunded compared to other cancers.

Louis’ mother reported that they raised approximately three hundred and seven hundred dollars, but people can still donate online.

Donations can be made on the Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation website.
