VALLEJO — An Amber Alert was issued Saturday morning for a 14-day-old boy and his mother, who authorities say abducted him Thursday.

The boy, Brandon Manning, and his mother, Valerie Manning, 28, were still missing as of midday Saturday. They were last seen around 3 a.m. Thursday in Vallejo, police said.

Authorities said Solano County Child Protective Services officials consider the infant to be in danger. No further details have been released.

Valerie Manning is believed to be driving a black 1991 Isuzu Amigo with California license plate 2ZRD090.

According to the Amber Alert issued by the California Highway Patrol, Brandon Manning is 22 inches tall, weighs 7 pounds and has brown hair and eyes. His mother is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 175 pounds and also has brown hair and eyes.

The alert also includes photos of the child, his mother and the vehicle.

Anyone who sees the two or the vehicle is asked to call 911 or Vallejo police at 707-552-3295.
