A motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after a serious collision with a bus in Co Carlow.

A motorcyclist collided with a bus on the N80 in County Carlow, 2km from Ballon in Closh Cross, at approximately 10.45am on Sunday 30th June 2024.

Police and emergency services attended the scene and the motorcyclist was airlifted to Tallaght Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

The collision site was secured pending technical inspections.
