Lauren Sánchez’s son could be fashion’s new it boy

Lauren Sánchez may have dazzled at the Met Gala this week in her dramatic Oscar de la Renta gown, but she’s far from the only fashion expert in her family.

Sánchez’s eldest son, Nikko Gonzalez, who graduated from college on Friday, as his mother revealed in a glowing post, is an up-and-coming model who already has one big runway show under his belt. In January, the 23-year-old made his catwalk debut at Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall/Winter 2024-2025 men’s show in Milan. At the show, a sexy Nikko walked the catwalk, sporting a cropped haircut and wearing a black double-breasted suit accented with a statement gold brooch.

Ever the proud mom, Sánchez attended the D&G show arm-in-arm with her fiancé, Jeff Bezos, and later gushed over her son’s performance. “It was such a gift to see my son @nikkogzz walk the runway for @dolcegabbana in Milan,” she captioned an Instagram video. “Congratulations, my love.”

Nikko, meanwhile, celebrated his grand debut in a post of his own, writing: “I am honored to be a part of this beautiful and elegant collection. Thank you so much for inviting me @dolcegabbana @siqueiragui dream brand with a dream team.”

Although the Milan show marked his first runway appearance, Nikko apparently has years of experience posing in the public eye; he previously walked the red carpet alongside his father, former NFL star Tony Gonzalez.

Those years of experience, coupled with his striking physique and buzzworthy name, suggest that Nikko may well be destined for a career in modeling. The recent graduate hasn’t spoken publicly about his career ambitions or post-college plans, but if his Instagram account, which is full of sun-kissed snapshots of his jet-setting lifestyle, is any indication, the fashion world may have a new It Boy on its hands.
