William Wallace arrested after search of Fallbrook home on Stewart Canyon Road

FALLBROOK, Calif. (FOX 5/KUSI) — Authorities said a convicted felon was arrested Thursday in North County on multiple gun possession charges.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, sheriff’s deputies began investigating a domestic violence incident at a home in the 700 block of Steward Canyon Road in Fallbrook around 8 a.m.


During a search of the home, officers found two handguns, an assault rifle and two privately manufactured firearms, commonly called ghost guns. These types of weapons do not have serial numbers or other identifiable markings, authorities said.

William James Wallace, a 46-year-old convicted felon, was arrested without incident. The department confirmed he was booked into Vista Detention Facility on multiple charges, including domestic violence, possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon, and possession of an undetectable firearm.
