The Herkimer County Personnel Department announces the Police Officer Examination

The Herkimer County Human Resources Department announced that the police officer exam will be open to the general public and will be held on September 28, 2024.

Applications must be received or postmarked by August 16, 2024, and the examination will be held on September 28, 2024.

EACH APPLICATION MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY A NON-REFUNDABLE APPLICATION FEE – MONEY ORDER ONLY – OF $25.00 – payable to the Herkimer County Treasurer.

Cash is only accepted for in-person payments; you must have the deducted amount in dollars with you.

Personal checks will NOT be accepted.

Salary range: Salary varies by municipality.
