12-year-old boy missing since Saturday afternoon

PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania — The Pittsburgh Police Department is urgently requesting the public’s assistance in locating 12-year-old Taeshawn Battles, who has been missing since noon on June 29, 2024. Taeshawn was last seen at his residence in the 2200 block of East Hills Drive in the East Hills neighborhood.

Described as a man standing 5’3″, 120 lbs, with black hair and brown eyes, Taeshawn is known to often wear a black hood. He may be in the Pittsburgh or Wilkinsburg area.

Special Victims Unit detectives are leading the search and are calling on anyone with information on Taeshawn’s whereabouts to come forward to help ensure his safe return. Community members are encouraged to remain vigilant and report any sightings or information that may help locate Taeshawn.
