Three arrested after police raid on Pōkeno property

Three people have been arrested at a Waikato country estate as part of a raid on a facility producing and supplying Class A drugs.

A police spokesman said the Bay of Plenty Organized Crime Unit, Co. Manukau Offender Prevention Team and the Armed Offenders Squad were involved.

Two men, aged 29 and 38, and a 31-year-old woman were found and arrested at the scene.

All three will appear in Manukau District Court on Monday.

The police do not rule out that more people could have been involved in the incident.

Other items were found at the address and an investigation was launched, preventing further charges from being brought.

The police did not say what the items were.
