Uruguay coach Marcelo Bielsa is suspended for the Copa America match against the United States

NEW YORK (AP) – Uruguay coach Marcelo Bielsa has been suspended by South American soccer’s governing body for arriving late to the second half of the first two Copa America matches and will miss his team’s match against the United States on Monday. The Confederation of South American Football said on Sunday that Bielsa had violated tournament rules and fined the Uruguayan Football Association $15,000. Copa America regulations state that players must be on the pitch by a certain time after the break and will be warned after the first infringement. The penalty was imposed after the second violation. The same punishment for Bielsa was given to three other Argentine coaches for the same reason during the tournament held in the USA
