Justin Timberlake seemingly jokes about a DWI arrest during a performance in Boston

Justin Timberlake continues to address his recent DWI arrest during his Forget Tomorrow World Tour.

During Saturday’s concert at Boston’s TD Garden, Timberlake turned to the audience and asked, “So, is there anyone here today who’s hosting?”

Because you could hear the audience laughing, movies on social media, Timberlake quickly responded, “I was just kidding.”

Then he became serious.

“Is there anyone here tonight who is coming to the show for the first time? Is there anyone here who has been to one, two, three, maybe four of our shows?” he asked the crowd, according to People.

“I would like all of you, for the first time this evening, for the first time – seriously – to hope that you will feel a sense of community and love,” he said, according to People, before talking to his longtime fans. “To those of you who have been with me through all these weird hairstyles… don’t act like you don’t have bad hairstyles! I took one for the team. Maybe three or four for the team, but who’s counting? But it’s been almost three decades together, guys.

Timberlake was arrested on June 18 in Sag Harbor, New York, for allegedly driving under the influence of alcohol. According to a police statement, the superstar musician “was observed driving a BMW 2025 southbound on Madison Street, failing to stop at a properly placed stop sign and failing to maintain his lane.”

A Sag Harbor police officer stopped Timberlake and “determined that Mr. Timberlake was driving under the influence of alcohol.” He was arraigned and released before his next court hearing on July 26.

The pop star previously alluded to his legal troubles during his first concert since his arrest, which took place on June 21 at the United Center in Chicago.

“We’ve been through ups and downs together, left and right. It’s been a tough week, but you’re here, I’m here, and nothing can change this moment,” Timberlake said at the time, according to videos shared on X (formerly Twitter).

“I know sometimes it’s hard to love me, but you love me and I love you in return,” he added at a concert in Chicago. “Thank you very much!”
