Burglar arrested at Euro match in Germany wanted to take “good pictures”

German police said on Sunday that a 21-year-old man who climbed onto the stadium roof during Germany’s match against Denmark at Euro 2024 wanted to document the feat.

According to local police, the attacker who broke into the Westfalen stadium in Dortmund told officers after his arrest that he just wanted to take “good photos.”

Police said the man was spotted in the rafters of the stadium on Saturday at 22:11 (GMT 2011) during the round of 16 match.
