Supernatural creator discusses the boys’ reunion

Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles co-directed Supernatural for 15 years as Sam and Dean Winchester, then seeing them reunited on The boys would be a treat for fans of both series.

Kripke’s statements about a possible reunion in an interview with Entertainment Weekly were extremely promising, as he said, “it’s fair” to say that Padalecki will appear in the fifth and final season and that we will see him in the screen opposite Ackles’ Soldier Boy. He’s also very aware of the demand for this reunion, saying, “it occurred to me that putting these two in a scene together would destroy a lot of the world, and that’s appealing.”
