Bantwal: Man seriously injured in accident dies

Bantwal, July 1: Dharnappa Kulal (74), a resident of Antara in Narikombu village, died on June 30 due to injuries following a serious road accident that took place on February 14 in Mogarnad. He left behind a wife, a daughter and two sons.

Dharnappa was hit by a motorcycle while waiting to cross the road. Despite receiving extensive treatment, his condition did not improve and he was taken home about a month ago. A case regarding the accident has been filed with the Bantwal rural police station.

Dharnappa was the founder of Sri Kodandarama Bajana Mandir and a famous bhajan singer. He served daily at Antara Sri Nalkathaya Panjurli Daivastan and was recognized as a progressive farmer.
