NAB Customers Affected by Multiple Outages: ‘App Not Working’

NAB customers have been blocked from their digital and online accounts while the bank works to resolve the issue.

Online banking is “temporarily unavailable,” NAB said on its website, and tweets to customers on X, formerly Twitter, confirmed its app was also down.

“There are issues with our online banking/NAB app,” NAB told one customer.

“Our technical team is working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.”

Customers have taken to social media to ask NAB questions about the issue, claiming that their “banking app is not working”.

The number of user reports to the Downdetector website increased around noon to almost 1,400, with over 80 percent of them concerned problems with online banking.

NAB has been contacted for comment.
