Firefighters rescue a child trapped in a tree in York

A child became stuck in a tree in York this afternoon (Sunday 30th June).

Fortunately, help soon arrived in the form of firefighters from York.

Acomb’s crew was called to the scene. No more water On 14:12.

A North Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service spokesman said: “Crews brought the child to safety using high-altitude equipment and a triple ladder.”
