A 65-year-old Porterville woman allegedly ran a drug dealing house

PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 65-year-old Porterville woman was arrested Friday evening on suspicion of running a drug store, the Porterville Police Department said.

Police said a search warrant was executed at about 7 p.m. as part of an ongoing investigation into the sale of illegal drugs at a home in the 800 block of South Prospect Street.

After searching the apartment, officers reported over 500 counterfeit pills, over 300 prescription pills intended for sale, methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia, digital scales and drug packaging.

As a result, detectives arrested 65-year-old Rebecca Baugher of Porterville after determining she was responsible for the drugs and drug sales at the home.

According to police, Baugher was arrested on charges of possession of fentanyl for sale, possession of prescription drugs for sale, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and drug trafficking.
